C-LOL 67 FX
Perfect for a wide range of vocals
I love this microphone. I've used it for nearly 4 years, for opera, pop, backing vocals, country - you name it! It's the best microphone I've found for capturing my powerful high notes. I also sometimes use it to record Youtube videos.
Elizabeth Zharoff
C-LOL 47
Awesome 47 FET Microphone!
Beautiful-sounding capsule with FET electronics and nice harmonic coloration from the transformer….for decades I have always used a 47 on relatively clean/mildly overdriven guitar and bass cabinets. The C-LOL 47FX captures that sound, with the same fatness and clarity that I always look for.
Bill Jackson
C-LOL 49
Use all your tools
I use this combination of 49 lollipop and Fx head amp to warm up or tame overly bright sources when I want it to sit back in the mix. Perfect!
Jon Simmons
C-LOL 251
C-LOL 251 stands for BLISS!
I have been around a lot of studios in my 40+ years in the music business and have used a lot of microphones. Some mics stay with you long after a session is over, having made a very defined sonic impression that lasts. That's what happened after my first session with my beloved (C-LOL) 251.
Billy Yates
C-LOL 12
Unbelievably quiet and sensitive
I just wanted to say what a jewel the C-LOL 12 TL mic has been, even going direct into say a Universal interface - it seems to have multiple sweet spots. The C-LOL 12 “lollipop” captured the excitement, transients and room sound /direct balance of the talking drum in a big way, without needing much or any eq!

Old Guild new Cardioid
I've tried a bunch of different mics over the years on various acoustic guitars. I'm finally getting a recording that sounds like the guitar actually sounds. No hyped highs or scooped Mids. I set the Cardioid up about 6 inches from the 12th fret, pointing slightly towards the sound hole. Every guitar I recorded had the tonality of the guitar I was recording!
Mill Williams
SD-H
Upright Bass
When I heard that Victor Wooten, Victor Krauss, Steve Bailey and John Patitucci all had this mic I had to try one! In a word, 'perfect'. I'm one happy bassman!
Steve Halberg

First Choice, Sound Mind
I am a department head for an audio education program, TD for a professional big band jazz orchestra, & a radio broadcast recording engineer for a professional symphony orchestra. I have access to any microphone configuration & manufacturer. What do I own and use from my personal inventory and deploy daily to use with my clients? ADK 3 Zigma Microphones.
Mischa Goldman
Munich-7 T
FET Heaven
This is it! The desert-island FET mic. It captures the spirit of the German sound; the lows are fat but not muddy. The mids are strong but not blaring, and the highs are present but not bright. It's musical, mixable, and malleable. That is, it sounds good right out of the gate, takes EQ and processing well, and sounds as if it were tailored to each source.
Donn Halliburton
Hamburg-67 T
Hamburg is amazing on everything I throw at it!
Workhorse mics like U-87 always seemed pinched and boxy compared to vintage German Mics. When I plugged in the Hamburg-67 T, I got that immediate sense of full-bodied tone with a huge midrange that made instruments and vocals sound great. Without a doubt it is the best all-around mic!
David
Cremona-251 T
This won a blind shoot out for Best mic for my wife's voice!
We tested the Cremona-251 T with a pro engineer for a blind-test against some high-end crazy mics for my dynamic mezzo-soprano wife with crazy powerful range. It stood out as the winner—smooth, with the perfect sweet shimmer and fullness we wanted!
JonCarlos
Vienna-12 T
New Vienna in the House
I needed something less mid forward. Something accentuating the higher frequencies without harshness. I especially wanted this for acoustic guitars. My new Vienna-12 T met my expectations. It adds a crystalline quality that I just love. A nice balance in a mix with the Hamburt- 67 T on mandolin and resonator.
Roger Marshall
Berlin-47 T
Great Mic, Great Price
I’ll start by answering the question any potential buyer has in their head: Yes these mics sound great, and yes they are affordable! So far I’ve used the Berlin 47 on vocals, percussion, sax, and a mono kit mic. It sounded great on all these sources. If you’re looking for a solid and versatile mic to add to your locker, these are worth giving a try.
Daniel Bourget
Frankfurt-49 T
A great sounding and well made microphone
Yes, it is reminiscent of a "less mid forward" M49, but without the cost, tube replacement and PS to haul around. So far it has been great on Orchestra Spots and Male Vocal. IMO ~a great value.
Brad
Z²-67 Z-Mod
I wish I had two!
I was looking for a Vocal Mic that would be better fitting for our harsh sounding language rather than the bright M149 from. My oh my, I was not disappointed. Quite the contrary! I have never used an original U67 and I don't feel the need to since this microphone is so impressively great on so many things. Oh and it came with a replacement tubes!!!
Georges Majerus
Z²-251 Z-Mod
My Main Guy!
This is not a clone, it's a masterpiece. It's everything the Elam 251 is, but with more vibe and mojo. It's crisp-clear top, and rich lows/mids makes it my go-to vocal mic for male and female vocals. I use it everyday on acoustic guitar and vocals. This is my forever microphone.Made in the USA with the best customer support on the planet!

Rap Vocals
Been using this mic for a few years now for all of the rap & hip-hop vocals that come through my studio. I really love how present vocals are right from the jump with this mic.
Neill Von Tally
Z²-12 Z-Mod
Vintage and modern collide
I was tracking vocals for ASIA's ARIA album at Lilly Yard, Hans Zimmer's then London studio. I distinctly remember singing into this amazing vintage C12 microphone. I decided on the ADK Z-12. Memories came flooding back with a smile. It is absolutely incredible. I have no affiliation with ADK and yes I purchased it!
John Payne
Z²-47 Z-Mod
Amazing
This mic has all the power without the high mid bump smooth a silk on all sources !
Ken Riley
Z²-49 Z-Mod
The Z49 is a stellar microphone.
I have had great results with this mic. I have all the flavors of the ADK mics between the Z-Mod, C-LOL and FET microphones and all of them get used regularly.

FET Heaven

We tested the Cremona-251 T with a pro engineer for a blind-test against some high-end crazy mics for my dynamic mezzo-soprano wife with crazy powerful range. It stood out as the winner—smooth, with the perfect sweet shimmer and fullness we wanted!

A great sounding and well made microphone
Yes, it is reminiscent of a "less mid forward" M49, but without the cost, tube replacement and PS to haul around. So far it has been great on Orchestra Spots and Male Vocal. IMO ~a great value.

I was looking for a Vocal Mic that would be better fitting for our harsh sounding language rather than the bright M149 from. My oh my, I was not disappointed. Quite the contrary! I have had great results with this mic. I have all the flavors of the ADK mics between the Z-Mod, C-LOL and FET microphones and all of them get used regularly.

C-LOL 67 FX
Perfect for a wide range of vocals
I love this microphone. I've used it for nearly 4 years, for opera, pop, backing vocals, country - you name it! It's the best microphone I've found for capturing my powerful high notes. I also sometimes use it to record Youtube videos.

FET Heaven

A great sounding and well made microphone
Yes, it is reminiscent of a "less mid forward" M49, but without the cost, tube replacement and PS to haul around. So far it has been great on Orchestra Spots and Male Vocal. IMO ~a great value.

I was tracking vocals for ASIA's ARIA album at Lilly Yard, Hans Zimmer's then London studio. I distinctly remember singing into this amazing vintage C12 microphone. I decided on the ADK Z-12. Yes, it is reminiscent of a "less mid forward" M49, but without the cost, tube replacement and PS to haul around. So far it has been great on Orchestra Spots and Male Vocal. IMO ~a great value.

C-LOL 67 FX
Perfect for a wide range of vocals
I love this microphone. I've used it for nearly 4 years, for opera, pop, backing vocals, country - you name it! It's the best microphone I've found for capturing my powerful high notes. I also sometimes use it to record Youtube videos.

FET Heaven
