Reviews

Cremona-251
I found the Cremona-251 to offer an open, airy sound with sweet, even mids. It indeed has a healthy forward boost in the 10 to 15 kHz range but is very neutral across the middle, with no low-end hype. In that review, I liked it best on acoustic guitar, violin, and strings, as well as folk-style vocals, especially female.

Frankfurt-49-T
ADK builds capsules that are designed and voiced to sound not like a specific capsule but like a specific microphone. This is a small but critically important distinction! I found [the Frankfurt-49-T] sounds big, flattering and characterful…. it will sound superb with many, and the old‑school body and mellowness is quite appealing.
